It seems like the fake Valentino Rockstud Glam Lock Flap Bag is becoming more and more popular! But you know what this means…with wide popularity comes an avalanche of poorly made replicas as well!
So I’ll use this handbagmystyle.com review not just to show you their Valentino replica Glam Lock but also to show you how easy it is to spot a bad fake!
You’ll find a few more Valentino Rockstud replica Glam Lock bag reviews here on the blog, so you might take a look at those ones too and compare them!
Here is the handbagmystyle.com review and the photos and then I’ll explain which are the dead giveaways of this fake Valentino Rockstud:
Just discovered your blog after buying this replica Valentino bag and I loooove it so much!
I ordered this bag from a site called handbagmystyle.com because it looked really good in the photos. The bag just arrived and I’m not happy with it, it’s not like in those photos!
I first wanted to pay with my credit card but I had some terrible luck because my bank refused the transfer. So I chose Paypal instead. The thing is that I want to return it but they don’t give full refund if you don’t like the product.
What do you think I should do now? Should I ask for a replacement (I’d have to pay for the shipping charges) or file a dispute on Paypal? That sounds like a lot of trouble though and I know it doesn’t always work…
Is this bag really bad? Like is it easy to tell it’s fake?
I think I already answered the last question, this bag is easy to spot as a fake. And now I’ll tell you why. I put all these major flaws inside red circles so that you can see them better.
First of all, the push lock should be engraved, not painted over! ! Then just look at the two studs in the front and how misplaced they are!
Another dead giveaway are the studs on the front flap: first of all they are obviously misaligned and second of all there shouldn’t be that much space in between them.
In the interior there should be a red tab that’s either missing or is black instead of red. Either way, that’s wrong too.
Also, on the back of this fake Valentino Rockstud bag there is a stamp that should just not be there. You will never see an authentic Glam Lock Flap Bag with a stamp on the back!
I doubt that if you ask for a replacement you will get a much better bag. As far as I know payments sent through the “Friends and Family” option are not eligible for Buyer Protection. Still, you should be able to file an “Item Not Received” dispute.
Did you girls notice any other flaws of this fake Valentino Rockstud Glam Lock bag?
