From shoes to nail polish, and now launching a new lingerie line, Christian Louboutin is slowly expanding its potentials. The Lingerie Line is made in collaboration with Dita Von Teese and it’s going to be called the ‘XXXtian’, purposely because it got the x-appeal.
Now, the collection will consist of seven pieces, they include suspenders, bodice and bra. The prices will range between 80 to 800 euro’s.
Christian Louboutin is already famous for their dangerous red shoes with black soles, and now adding the lingerie line will only make them more irresistible. For those that are interested, these accessories will not be available at Louboutin’s e-store, but via the fashion website Glamuse. And to make it even disappointing for some of you, it will only be available in Europe.
While most celebs have already slipped into minimal sandal mode, Taylor Swift has recently discovered a love for fat heels, and I don't fault her; a good chunky-heeled shoe is far easier to walk in than a designer stiletto. And, while T-Swift is no stranger to designer stilettos, I have never gotten the sense that she loves then with quite the same ardor as some of her A-list peers. (Honestly, I admire, but in no way understand women who live in heels 24/7.) Yet, she does have those long (and extremely well-insured) legs to flaunt. Enter: the chunky-heeled short boot or sandal. Specifically, the black, chunky-heeled short boot or sandal. Because color is too predictable for April.
FRANCO SARTO AGENDA BOOTIES
Here's Taylor shopping and having lunch in LA with gal pal Selena Gomez. She's wearing a pair of supremely affordable Franco Sarto Agenda Booties and carrying one of her favorite bags, the Louis Vuittonx Christian Louboutin Shopping Tote.
GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI LAVINIA PLATFORM BOOTS
Taylor wore an imposing pair of glossy, patent leather Giuseppe Zanotti Lavinia Platform Boots to last weekend's "I Heart Music" Awards. And in case you were wondering, that's a six-inch chunky heel. All the better to stomp on Justin Bieber's face with, my dear.
MIU MIU PEEP TOE PUMPS
Here's Taylor leaving Lady Gaga's 30th b-day party with squad member Lorde (not pictured here) in a black suede pair of chunky-heeled Miu Miu Peep Toe Pumps. This post will only continue to provide ample proof that T-Swift is a huge fan of Miuccia Prada.
PRADA ANKLE STRAP PLATFORM SANDALS
And here she is again with Lorde, leaving Sushi Roku in LA. Taylor is wearing a beautiful pair of black leather Prada platform sandals and carrying a black Louis Vuitton Petite Malle Clutch.
RAG & BONE LACE-UP BOOTIES
Rag & Bone booties have long been a celebrity favorite, and their charm is certainly not lost on Taylor. Here she is wearing an adorable pair of Rag & Bone Lace-Up Booties while shopping at Brandy Melville in LA. You'll notice her bag is a black Prada tote.
SAINT LAURENT CANDY PLATFORM SANDALS
Taylor recently donned these tan suede Saint Laurent Candy Platform Sandals to a dinner date at Madeo in LA, where she enjoyed a casual dinner with unexpected squad member Reese Witherspoon. You can barely see it here, but Taylor is also carrying a navy blue Jimmy Choo Alara Bag.
STUART WEITZMAN SLITS SANDALS
Here she is at LAX in a pair of black suede Stuart Weitzman Slits Sandals, which are a great summer sandal for under $500. (Pro tip: you can find select sizes and colors of this style online for less than half of that.)
VETEMENTS PLATFORM BOOTIES
Finally, here's Taylor shopping at Isabel Marant in LA with one of her many supermodel friends, Lily Aldridge. She's wearing a pair of towering platform booties from the French label Vetements. These are made of smooth, buttery Italian leather, and yes, they boast yet another almost-six-inch chunky heel.
Not long ago, we gave you a rundown of the sandals you'll see everywhere this season, but no matter which trendy shoes come or go, we always believe in our ability to fall back on a pair of trusty flats.
These flats are perfectly suited for casual ensembles, but what's great is they can take you beyond your Saturday morning errands; some are suitable for even the fanciest of occasions. Whether they are emblazoned with crystals or colorful embroidering, it's always nice to know that you don't have to kill your feet to wear killer footwear.
Any woman needs a break from heels every now and then, but you no longer have to think of flats as something you settle for when heels aren't feasible. Whether you choose to dress up your outfit with Ferragamo's colorful polka-dots or you'd prefer Tom Ford's polished pair, we found a robust selection that you can buy now and wear now below.

Dior’s former creative director Raf Simons has collaborated with sportswear giant Adidas for the second time. The renewed partnership will see the addition of three new colorways to the Raf Simons x adidas Ozweego 2 collection. The shoe’s familiar bulky silhouette is now available in blue/black, green and yellow. The sneaker’s signature details including mesh inserts, leather accents and gel pods remain the same. The shoes feature two tone outsoles and have the Raf Simons branding on a custom pod at the tongue.
Shop the collection at Feature Sneaker Boutique where each pair is priced at $430.
Louboutin red soles and horoscope signs are not an aleatory prediction anymore and are now available for preorder on Moda Operandi (shipping will begin this summer). Self-declared horoscope aficionado, Christian Louboutin presented an exclusive limited-edition collection of astrology inspired shoes on Moda Operandi on Friday last week, just in time for the luxury e-commerce website’s fifth anniversary. Moda Operandi’s celebrations won’t stop however here, as the retailer is actually going to release a series of five designer collaborations throughout the whole year (named ‘Créateurs’, the other partnerships for the series have not been revealed yet).
It is not the first time that zodiac signs have been used by our favorite brands and retailers to connect with their customers on a more personal level, as recently proven by Louis Vuitton’s Fortune Earrings collection as well. The Louboutin x Moda Operandi collection takes two of the label’s most iconic shoe styles, namely the pointed Rocket Flat and the open-toe Akenana Mule, and offers a great variety of customization options (aside from the gold hand-ebroidered star constellations of the zodiac sign).
Besides any of the 12 astrological signs, customers can choose among different colors, from midnight blue and deep purple to black satin hues, and even add unique customizations such as personal initials and birth dates, just in case one needs to further assert her position on astrology. Each pair of shoe is going to be hand-embroidered in India and finished at Louboutin’s studios in Paris. While the mules retail for $2200, the astrological flats go for $2000; preorders require a $1000 deposit.
“The allure of a Christian Louboutin shoe is undeniable; its beauty and craftsmanship is unsurpassed. We are thrilled to launch an exclusive bespoke collection inspired by astrology, a source of creative inspiration that’s near and dear to the heart of Mr. Louboutin himself,” declared Moda Operandi’s CEO Deborah Nicodemus in a statement.
Those who are not that fond of astrology will however be more than enthusiastic about the idea that the French fashion house is finally part of the Moda Operandi brands. If you feel your lucky stars are suggesting you going and checking out the collection, just make sure to be quick enough to catch your designed pair of shoes in time! The exclusive capsule collection is so limited it will consist of only 45 pairs of shoes worldwide, and will be available up until February 20th.
